This is an exciting opportunity to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and human needs, ensuring our autonomous solutions are not only technically superior but also deeply user-centric.\nResponsibilities\nConduct applied research in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) specifically within the context of autonomous driving and drones. This includes understanding user needs, behaviors, and expectations related to self-driving vehicles, human-autonomy interaction, trust, and acceptance.\nContribute to the intellectual property of the company through patents and publications,\nDevelop and evaluate user interfaces (UIs) and user experiences (UXs) for in-vehicle systems, external communication interfaces (e.g., pedestrian interaction), and off-board tools related to autonomous vehicles, including Drones. This includes infotainment, navigation, driver-vehicle handover, and remote assistance systems.\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, product managers, and safety experts to integrate HCI principles and user insights throughout the product development lifecycle.\nPrototype and test concepts ranging from low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity interactive mockups.\nTechnical requirements\nQualifications\nRequired\nMaster's or Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Industrial Design, Computer Science, or a related field.\n2+ years of experience conducting HCI research with research publications in journals or conference papers.
