excellence.\nResponsibilities\nKey Responsibilities:\nArchitecture & Technical Leadership\nLead the architecture and development of backend services using Node.js and GraphQL, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.\nDefine API standards, schema design guidelines, and best practices for GraphQL queries, mutations, and resolvers.\nDrive technical decision-making, conduct design reviews, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and engineering standards.\nCloud Engineering (AWS & Azure)\nDesign and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS and Azure services, focusing on reliability, security, and cost optimization.\nEstablish deployment patterns and operational practices for cloud workloads, including monitoring, logging, and incident readiness.\nEnsure cloud governance adherence, including identity, access management, and secure configuration practices.\nDelivery & Collaboration\nPartner with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and delivery plans.\nMentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and support team execution through code reviews and engineering coaching.\nCommunicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and provide regular status updates.\nTechnical requirements\nMinimum Qualifications:\n9+ years of overall experience in backend engineering with strong hands-on expertise in Node.js.\nProven experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs, including schema design and resolver patterns.\nStrong experience delivering solutions on AWS and Azure, including architecture, deployment, and operations.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and drive technical alignment.\nAdditional responsibilities\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience building cloud-native backend platforms with strong focus on performance tuning, scalability, and resilience.\nExpertise in API lifecycle management, versioning strategies, and governance for GraphQL-based services.\nExperience implementing security best practices for cloud and APIs, including authentication/authorization patterns and secure access controls.\nDemonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives end-to-end, from discovery and design through delivery and operationalization.\nTrack record of mentoring teams, improving engineering practices, and driving consistent code quality through reviews and standards.\nGood to have skills:\nTypeScript, Apollo
