Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time\nExperienced in Overseeing platform upgrades, patching, user provisioning, workspace/projects management, BI content migration, performance tuning, and license optimization.\nImplement and manage data source connectivity, gateway management, capacity planning, and security models.\nEnsure high availability, disaster recovery readiness, and platform scalability.\nExperienced in design end to end BI platform architectures supporting enterprise grade analytics.\nDefine and enforce governance standards, including:\no Data security & RLS/authorization frameworks\no Naming conventions\no Workspace/project taxonomy\no Lifecycle management (dev → test → prod)\no Usage/audit monitoring\nPartner with Data Architecture and Cloud teams to define best practice integration patterns\nManage and mentor a team of cloud visualization platform infrastructure SMEs, providing technical leadership and direction.\nOwn and manage platform lifecycle - patching, upgrades, capacity planning, performance tuning, and financial/license management.\nEnable new features, tools, and innovations that enhance user experience and productivity in collaboration with new product innovation and enterprise architecture team.\nUser access management. Managing user accounts, permissions, and roles.\nCapacity management. Managing capacities, to ensure sufficient resources for user needs.\nPlatform configuration. Configuring settings, policies, and features to align with organizational needs and security requirements.\nGovernance and compliance: Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.\nMonitoring and Auditing: Tracking usage, performance, and auditing activity.\nKnowledge of different Azure/AWS database platforms and SQL.\nTechnical requirements\n2-5 years of experience in Power BI Administration or related BI roles.\nStrong knowledge of Power BI Service, Desktop, and Gateway configuration.\nExperience with Azure services (Azure AD, Azure SQL, Data Factory, etc.) is preferred.\nProficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling concepts.\nGood understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and database systems (SQL Server, etc.).\nExperience in security implementation-RLS, data privacy, and compliance.\nKnowledge of Power BI Premium capacity management is a plus.\nFamiliarity with REST APIs and PowerShell scripting for automation is desirable.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAdditional responsibilities\nInfosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.
