lead responsibilities and coordinating team activities when required.\nResponsibilities\nProvide technical leadership and oversight for batch processing and test environment operations.\nServe as the primary escalation point for complex batch failures and environment-related issues.\nCoordinate monthly, quarterly, and major release support activities.\nLead troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts for critical incidents and recurring operational issues.\nSupport and oversee data refresh and environment maintenance activities.\nDevelop, modify, and maintain JCL, REXX, COBOL, and related mainframe components.\nSupport CICS and DB2 applications and associated batch workloads.\nReview and improve operational procedures, standards, and documentation.\nPartner with offshore support teams to ensure effective knowledge transfer and operational consistency.\nMonitor workload automation and scheduling activities using ESP.\nSupport software migration, deployment, and change management processes.\nDevelop and analyze KPI metrics, service performance reporting, and operational dashboards.\nCollaborate with application development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure successful delivery of testing and release activities.\nIdentify opportunities for automation, operational efficiencies, and process improvements.\nParticipate in audit, compliance, and risk management activities as required.\nProvide functional leadership and day-to-day guidance to offshore team members when required.\nAct as a team lead during critical incidents, release activities, and high-priority operational events.\nCoordinate work assignments, escalations, and communication between offshore resources, application teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.\nEnsure operational procedures, standards, and support processes are consistently followed across the team.\nAssist management in prioritization, workload balancing, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness activities\nTechnical requirements\nExperience supporting IBM z/OS mainframe environments.\nHands-on experience with JCL, REXX, COBOL, CICS, and DB2.\nExperience troubleshooting complex batch processing and job scheduling issues.\nStrong understanding of release management and testing lifecycle support.\nExperience leading incident resolution and root cause analysis efforts.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced operational support environment.\nAbility to coordinate across multiple technology teams and business stakeholders.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nAdditional responsibilities\nExperience with COBOL, JCL, Assembler, EasyTrieve, and SAS reporting.\nExperience utilizing ESP workload automation and scheduling tools.\nExperience with ChangeMan software configuration and release management processes.\nFamiliarity with test environment management and data refresh procedures.\nExperience creating and presenting KPI dashboards, metrics, and operational reporting.\nKnowledge of ITIL-based incident, problem, change, and service management processes.\nExperience supporting large-scale enterprise mainframe environments.\nExperience leading offshore teams and coordinating global support models.\nExposure to automation and process improvement
