Fluency with video codec ecosystems and transport protocols: MPEG 2/4, GOP structure, I-P-B frames, AVC, HEVC, RTP, RTMP, SRT, SDR/HDR, container formats (MP4, MPEG-TS, fragmented MP4), bitrates and aspect ratios manifest/segment tuning (segment length, fMP4 vs TS) for Live, Replay, Recordings and VoD delivery. Strong experience with packaging and streaming tooling (FFmpeg, Ateme solutions or equivalent encoders/packagers), real time ABR ladder generation, bitrate ladder optimization, Dolby audio, closed-captions and subtitles, SCTE-35 ad signalling, client and server-side manifest/ad manipulation.\nAdditional responsibilities\nIndustry recognized vendor certifications on the Professional level.\nExperience and proficiency with Cloud and Automation to deploy and maintain the secure and robust cloud-native solutions across leading public platforms, such as AWS and Google Cloud (GCP) - including compute, storage, networking, serverless, multi region/zone architectures and cost-optimized solutions.
