You will be a self starter who is excited about building out a green field QA function across a heavily used suite of projects. In addition to operating as a senior individual contributor, you will balance deep technical work, building scalable test frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, with mentoring team members, establishing coding standards, and advocating for quality early in the development lifecycle. Working closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams, you will ensure high release confidence, minimize defect leakage, and eliminate test flakiness to maintain a fast, reliable continuous deployment workflow.\nWhat you’ll do\nArchitect, build, and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks (UI, API, Mobile, Performance) across web and backend systems.\nEstablish automation guidelines, coding standards, and best practices across the engineering organization.\nIntegrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab) to enable seamless continuous testing and reliable deployment gates.\nMentor and guide QA engineers on test automation techniques, design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model), clean code principles, and effective debugging.\nPartner with Product, Design, and Software Engineers early in the development lifecycle to clarify requirements, review design specs, and plan for testability.\nThe technical chops needed for this role\nWe know that the best engineers can pick up new tech quickly when needed, so don’t be deterred if you don’t have every item on the list below.\n\nMust have tech stacks:\n\nNice to have:\n\nAdvanced proficiency in at least one OOP/functional language used in automation (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or C#)\n\nRESTful/GraphQL API testing and automation (Postman, RestAssured, Supertest)\n\nHands-on expertise building automation frameworks from scratch (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, or Appium)\n\nContainerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)\n\nExperience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines\n\nSolid command of SQL and database validation for data quality verification\n\nExperience testing .NET/C# applications with MSSQL back-ends.\n\nExperience using FitNesse (open-source acceptance testing framework) to test .NET/C# applications with MSSQL back-ends.\n\nWhat it's like to be on the QA Automation team\nOur vision: Our vision is to create intuitive software that makes our customers' jobs easier, more efficient, and less complex.
