How's that for impact?!\nWho we are looking for\nAs a Sr. Platform Engineer, you will build and support the automated, self-service foundation that takes software from integration and testing through release, deployment, and ongoing operation. We are a team.\nWhat will you do in this role?\nPartner with product engineering teams to design and deliver a scalable, highly available platform on AWS for our interdependent products and services.\nBuild and maintain reusable, self-service tooling and standardized environments that make it easier and faster for developers to build, test, and ship.\nAutomate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning using scripting, Infrastructure as Code, and AWS services.\nDevelop, deploy, and maintain consistent development, test, and production environments that use resources efficiently across all commercial products.\nImplement monitoring, alerting, and observability so we can see issues early, respond to alerts quickly, and keep service delivery seamless.\nAdminister Linux-based systems and cloud networking, enforcing strong security across accounts, user permissions, and services.\nKeep systems healthy through backups, regular updates, and security patching, and monitor for vulnerabilities and intrusion.\nIdentify risks in infrastructure designs and processes and communicate them to the right people, along with ideas for future improvement.\nCreate clear technical documentation, and share new platform capabilities with product teams.\nParticipate in after-hours maintenance and on-call troubleshooting when needed.\nThe technical chops needed for this role\nWe are currently looking for engineers familiar with AWS, containerization, Terraform, and Linux, but we know that quality hires can learn new technology quickly, so don't be deterred if you're not an expert in every item below!
