The role ensures that raw network measurements and performance data are transformed into trusted, structured, and actionable information that powers analytics, automation, and AI-driven insights.\nThe architect establishes the technical direction for decoder frameworks, data quality, traceability, and processing platforms that enable consistent interpretation of mobile network performance across technologies, devices, and products.\nThe role is part of a team of other technical experts that together evolve the technical direction of the Infovista VistaView products, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with the company's technology strategy.\nResponsibilities\nArchitecture Leadership\nDefine the strategic architecture and technical roadmap for protocol decoding, data correlation, and enrichment platforms.\n\nEstablish architectural principles, standards, and best practices across related products.\n\nDrive technology selection and major design decisions, balancing scalability, maintainability, performance, and cost.\n\nCollaborate with product management, engineering, and domain experts to align technical direction with business objectives.\n\nMentor development teams and provide technical leadership on complex architectural challenges.\n\nDrive alignment of architecture decisions across products, teams, and technology domains to maximize platform consistency and reuse.\n\nMobile Core Network Protocol Architecture\nEvolve architectural approaches for supporting standardized diagnostic and measurement data from protocols like Diameter, GTPv1/v2, 5G Service-Based Interfaces (SBI), IMS/VoLTE/VoNR signaling, CUPS, access network interfaces, and future 3GPP-defined protocols.\n\nEnsure decoded measurement data is accurately translated into common data models used across products and analytics platforms.\n\nMaintain backward compatibility, scalability, and long-term maintainability of decoder solutions.\n\nData Refinement\nDefine the data models, dimensions, and contextual information required to transform raw measurements into curated datasets.\n\nEstablish rules for data enrichment and correlation.\n\nQualifications & Experience\nRequired\nMobile Core Network Expertise\nStrong understanding of mobile telecommunications.\n\nStrong understanding of 4G and 5G Core network architectures.\n\nExpertise in signaling and transport protocols including Diameter, GTP, HTTP/2-based SBI interfaces, and related 3GPP standards.\n\nExperience with IMS, VoLTE, and VoNR ecosystems.\n\nUnderstanding of network slicing, CUPS, and cloud-native core architectures.\n\nSoftware Architecture Expertise\nStrong software engineering background, including distributed and data-intensive systems.\n\nDeep understanding of relevant 3GPP standards and their evolution across 4G and 5G networks.\n\nC++ experience\n\nPreferred\nExperience with large-scale data processing and analytics platforms.\n\nKnowledge of AI/ML data preparation and feature engineering.\n\nUnderstanding of data lineage, governance, and data quality frameworks.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud-native and distributed system architectures.\n\nKnowledge of statistical analysis and performance modeling techniques.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3963,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Mobile Networks","Observability & APM"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-23T07:38:16Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"GB","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Licensed UK visa sponsor (Senior or Specialist Worker, Skilled Worker)","filings_12m":null,"filings_prev_12m":null,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"Global Business Mobility: Senior or Specialist Worker;
