In this hands-on role, you'll transport and land-apply biosolids using specialized equipment, helping support sustainable wastewater treatment operations throughout the region.\nIf you're looking for a stable career with a company that values safety, teamwork, and professional growth, we'd love to hear from you.\nWhat You'll Do\nAs a Biosolids Technician, you will play a critical role in the transportation and beneficial reuse of biosolids by:\nSafely operating CDL vehicles to transport biosolids from treatment facilities to designated land application sites.\nOperating spreading equipment to apply biosolids in accordance with environmental regulations and established procedures.\nConducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment.\nPerforming routine equipment maintenance and reporting mechanical issues.\nLoading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment as needed.\nMaintaining accurate operational logs and documentation.\nSupporting field operations and responding to operational needs as required.\nFollowing all safety policies, environmental regulations, and company procedures.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nValid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record.\nExperience operating heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, dump trucks, tanker trucks, or similar vehicles.\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nCommitment to safety and environmental compliance.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in biosolids management, wastewater operations, agriculture, land application, or related field work.\nKnowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.\nExperience operating spreading or hauling equipment.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.\nAbility to climb onto equipment and work in outdoor environments.\nComfortable working in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain.\nAbility to sit and operate vehicles and equipment for extended periods.\nWork Environment\nPrimarily outdoor work environment.\nRegular operation of commercial vehicles and heavy equipment.\nExposure to agricultural fields, wastewater treatment facilities, and varying weather conditions.\nJoin a team that keeps communities running while helping promote sustainable environmental practices.
