This entry-level role supports facility operations by performing preventative and corrective maintenance under guidance. \nRESPONSIBILITIES \nAssists Lead Maintenance Technician in executing maintenance tasks. \nCleans and maintains tools, equipment, and assigned workspaces. \nPrepares maintenance rigs and tools for daily operations. \nRepairs or replaces pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, belt presses, and other mechanical components. \nMaintains records and documentation of work orders and completed tasks. \nPerforms routine equipment maintenance tests and inspections. \nAdheres to all company safety policies and health procedures as they relate to essential job duties. \nAvailable for all shifts including weekends, holidays, evenings, and emergency on-call rotations. \nOther Duties as required.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nAbility to write simple correspondence and follow written/oral instructions. \nDemonstrated willingness to learn and assist in team-based environments. \nPrior water or wastewater treatment facility experience preferred. \nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE \nHigh School Diploma or equivalent and 0–1 year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. \nCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS\nValid Driver’s License (CDL preferred). \nSelf-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) certification or ability to obtain. \nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nMust be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds. \nAbility to climb ladders and stairways safely. \nMust be able to pass a fit-test for Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA). \nAbility to work in confined spaces. \nReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job
