The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational reliability while supporting daily sludge press operations and facility maintenance activities.\nWhat You'll Do\nMaintenance & Equipment Reliability\nPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.\nTroubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, hydraulic systems, and related equipment.\nInspect facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and potential operational issues.\nComplete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.\nAssist with equipment installations, upgrades, and capital improvement projects.\nMaintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.\nSludge Press Operations Support\nOperate and monitor sludge dewatering equipment, including sludge presses and associated process equipment.\nMonitor equipment performance and make operational adjustments as needed.\nTroubleshoot sludge press issues and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.\nManage polymer systems and support dewatering processes according to operational procedures.\nPerform routine inspections, cleaning, and maintenance of sludge handling equipment.\nCollect and record operational data and process information.\nSafety & Compliance\nFollow all company safety policies and procedures.\nUtilize proper PPE and maintain a safe work environment.\nParticipate in safety meetings and training programs.\nRespond to after-hours emergencies and equipment failures as needed.\nEnsure work is performed in compliance with all applicable regulations and company standards.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nValid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.\nMinimum 2 years of industrial, manufacturing, utility, or mechanical maintenance experience.\nStrong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.\nAbility to read and interpret equipment manuals, technical documents, and work orders.\nExperience operating or maintaining sludge presses, centrifuges, belt presses, or dewatering equipment.\nExperience with pumps, motors, electrical controls, PLCs, instrumentation, or hydraulic systems.\nUtility, industrial plant, manufacturing, or public works experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nFlorida Class C Water License preferred.\n\nWelding, fabrication, or electrical maintenance experience is a plus.\nPhysical Requirements\nFrequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work around operating equipment.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.\nAbility to work around mechanical equipment, chemicals, noise, and moving machinery.\nAvailability for occasional overtime, weekend work, and emergency
