Responsibilities:\nPlan and organize activities for areas of responsibility, ensuring compliance with company safety standards; assist with the completion of departmental tasks as needed.\nFabricate traffic signals and signs such as regulatory, warning, construction, school, or recreational; operate a sign truck to drive sign poles into the ground; maintain signs and pulls as needed.\nPaint and maintain traffic markings, such as arrows or guidelines, for such areas as bike lanes, schools, or recreational areas.\nMaintain the area around signs, including mowing grass and trimming shrubs or tree limbs to ensure visibility for motorists; ensure the securing of work areas with traffic signs and cones; and flag and direct traffic around work areas as needed.\nAssist with maintaining inventory of materials and supplies to make traffic signs; order supplies; and perform periodic physical inventory.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED\nMust have valid GA driver’s license; CDL preferred\n1 year of related experience\nIMSA certification is preferred\nDetail-oriented work style\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS \nMust be able to: frequently lift 50-80 pounds; load, unload & move large equipment/tools; access confined spaces; continuously walk and climb stairs and ladders. \nReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions. \nOther Duties \nThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required.
