operators and laboratory personnel.\nOversee daily wastewater treatment plant operations and maintenance activities.\nPlan, schedule, and coordinate operational and maintenance work to maximize plant performance and reliability.\nEnsure compliance with permit requirements, environmental regulations, company SOPs, OSHA standards, and DOT regulations.\nManage the work order management system and maintenance planning activities.\nPrepare and review operational data, regulatory reports, and compliance documentation, including DMRs and other required submissions.\nTroubleshoot complex operational issues and implement process improvements.\nSupport regulatory inspections and maintain positive working relationships with regulatory agencies.\nFoster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nMinimum of 7 years of wastewater treatment operations experience.\nValid driver's license.\nGeorgia Class I Wastewater Operator License, or the ability to obtain a Georgia Class I Wastewater Operator License through reciprocity within a specified timeframe following hire.\nDemonstrated knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, regulatory compliance requirements, and plant operations.\nPrevious supervisory or team leadership experience.\nExperience managing and developing operations or laboratory personnel.\nExperience with regulatory reporting and compliance documentation.\nTechnical Expertise\nStrong understanding of wastewater treatment operations, maintenance practices, and compliance requirements.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems.\nFamiliarity with OSHA regulations, DOT requirements, and environmental permitting standards.\nExperience preparing regulatory reports, correspondence, and operational documentation.\nLeadership & Communication\nAbility to effectively lead, motivate, and treatment processes and equipment.\nAccess confined spaces as required.\nWalk extensively throughout the facility.\nClimb stairs, ladders, and structures regularly.\nWork indoors and outdoors in varying weather
