Water/Wastewater license required \nRESPONSIBILITIES \n• Manages day-to-day activities related to the operation and maintenance of treatment facilities. \n• Allocates work and provides technical direction, assistance, and training to other personnel. \n• Ensures that all SOPs are followed and that DOT, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements are met. Recommends improvements to SOPs. \n• Collaborates with the Operations Manager to ensure safety and permit compliance. \n• Coordinates with contract laboratories to ensure proper reporting limits and resolution of QA/QC issues. \n• Communicates with clients and customers regarding routine technical aspects of operations and responds to inquiries. \n• Trains employees on plant operations, repair and installation techniques, SOPs, and safe work practices. \n• Performs other duties as assigned. \nEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS \nEducation/Experience: \nHigh School Diploma or GED and 5–7 years of water/wastewater experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred. \nLicenses/Certifications: \nValid Driver’s License (CDL preferred). Water/Wastewater Operator’s License specific to state and site-specific requirements. Other licenses may vary according to specific site and assignments. \nTechnical: \nAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and internet tools. Ability to work with basic office equipment and phone systems. Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, DOT regulations, and Utility SOPs. Advanced knowledge of process control measures. \nCommunication: \nCommunicates clearly and professionally. Contributes to a positive internal and external customer experience.
