This is an entry-level position with training provided. The role also includes maintaining a clean and safe work environment and assisting other departments or shifts as directed by leadership.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nInstall pre-cut gaskets on vacuum and spray tanks as instructed. \nVerify proper coiler arm settings for the required inside diameter (28”-60”). \nNeatly and tightly coil pipe according to specifications: \nTape coils at 4 points with 4 wraps. \nSecure start and end of coil with 2 wraps of color footage tape. \nPlug both ends of every coil. \nInspect pipe for: \nProper printing and labeling \nQuality appearance (e.g., splits, pock marks, scratches, rough ends, striping) \nMaintain neat and safe pipe stacks. \nCommunicate any non-conforming product or operational issues to the Shift Supervisor. \nPlace defective pipe in the regrind area in a neat and orderly fashion. \nKeep the area from extruder to coiler clean and organized. \nReturn supplies at the end of each shift. \nParticipate in shift change communications to ensure continuity and issue resolution. \nTraining Requirements\nGeneral Safety and Housekeeping Standards \nBasic defect identification and escalation protocols \nPE Pipe Coiling and Unloading Procedures \nGasket installation and basic extrusion equipment operation \nReliable transportation is required. \nProtective Equipment (PPE)\nSafety footwear (steel/composite-toe) is required at all times in production and warehouse areas \nSafety glasses are required and provided \nAdditional PPE must be worn as needed for specific tasks \nCompany Overview\nInfra Pipes has over 60 years of experience specializing in the design, manufacture, and custom fabrication of engineered polyethylene systems for water, wastewater, and stormwater management applications.
