The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.\nEducation: High school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school education\nExperience:\nOne to three years of relevant automotive or equipment maintenance work experience\nAbility to weld and fabricate parts and assemblies\nAbility to operate or learn to operate forklifts, light-duty trucks, CDL trucks, and trailers\nTechnical Skills:\nCommercial driver’s license (CDL) strongly preferred\nAbility to operate shop machinery and equipment\nAbility to use hand tools\nSoft Skills:\nAbility to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions\nInitiative and accountability for completing tasks accurately and safely\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\nAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines\nTeam oriented with effective communication skills\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing\nMust have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Company requirements\nMust be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods\nAbility to work in various settings with moderate to loud noise levels\nAbility to work outdoors in all types of weather\nAbility to work long and unpredictable hours\nAbility to travel up to 25% of the time, including short notice travel.
