The position applies disciplined delivery and governance practices to integrate strategy, operations, change management, and enabling capabilities, ensuring transparency, risk management, and sustained benefits realization across the organization. \n\nNote: Internally this position will be titled IT Project Manager.\n\nWhat You Will Do: \nLead complex, cross-functional business initiatives, ensuring alignment to organizational priorities, timelines, and outcomes. \nDevelop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables. \nOversee multiple workstreams and interdependencies, ensuring effective coordination across business and technology teams. \nDeliver projects on time and within budget, while managing risks, issues, and dependencies. \nEstablish and maintain project governance structures, including reporting frameworks, status tracking, and executive updates. \nMonitor project performance, conduct health reviews, and implement corrective actions where required. \nAct as a trusted advisor to executive sponsors and business leads on delivery approaches, sequencing, and risk trade-offs. \nBuild and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across business delivery teams and external partners. \n\nWho You Are:\nProject Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent designation required. \nExtensive experience leading complex, enterprise-level business transformation initiatives. \nStrong knowledge of project delivery methodologies including Agile, waterfall, and hybrid approaches. \nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or large-scale initiatives with significant risk and complexity. \nStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align across functions and levels. \nProven ability to identify and manage risks, resolve issues, and deliver projects within scope, time, and budget constraints. \nExcellent communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership and governance bodies. \nExperience working with external vendors and managed service providers. \nOrganizational change management experience is an asset. \n\nWhat We Offer:\nCommitment to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture that promotes a sense of belonging and represents and reflects the needs of the communities we serve. \nA Defined Contribution Pension Plan, with Infrastructure Ontario contributing the equivalent of 5% of a full-time employee’s annual salary and will also match any employee contribution up to an additional 5% of their annual salary.
