This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects are delivered successfully while supporting informed decision-making, effective governance, and strong commercial outcomes.\n\nWe are currently looking for Project Managers to support our various major projects within Capital Delivery in the following areas:\nSocial Infrastructure (Health-Hospitals, Broader Healthcare Sector, Public Works, Government Services)\nTransportation (LRT, Rail Delivery, Roads)\n\nWhat You Will Do:\nManage one or more major infrastructure projects through planning, procurement, implementation, and close-out phases.\nServe as a primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and key partners throughout the project lifecycle.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and reporting tools to support successful delivery.\nCoordinate multidisciplinary teams and advisory consultants to advance project objectives and key milestones.\nPrepare project updates and briefing materials for internal committees and senior leadership.\nIdentify project risks and develop practical mitigation strategies to support informed decision-making.\nSupport project governance activities and secure required approvals throughout project development and delivery.\nManage procurement activities, including RFQ and RFP processes, advisor engagements, evaluations, negotiations, and contract execution.\nReview project documentation, technical submissions, commercial agreements, and consultant deliverables.\nMonitor construction and implementation activities through project meetings, reporting, audits, and site visits as required.\nManage project agreement obligations, change requests, claims, disputes, and other contractual matters.\nFacilitate project close-out activities, including documentation, approvals, warranty management, and transition to clients.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and the enhancement of project delivery practices across the organization.\nProvide guidance and mentorship to Project Coordinators and Senior Project Coordinators.\n\nWho You Are:\nYou are a collaborative project professional who enjoys working on complex infrastructure initiatives and navigating competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nWe are interested in candidates who bring:\nSeveral years of experience managing complex capital, infrastructure, construction, engineering, development, or public sector projects.\nExperience with project management, contract administration, procurement, and project delivery.\nExperience coordinating large, multidisciplinary projects involving multiple partners and consultants.\nKnowledge of public infrastructure delivery models, including Public-Private Partnerships (P3) and other alternative procurement approaches.\nExperience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and reporting requirements.\nStrong understanding of commercial, contractual, financial, and governance processes.\nAbility to review and interpret technical, legal, financial, and construction-related documentation.\nExceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nStrong communication, presentation, relationship management, and negotiation skills.\nAbility to identify issues, evaluate options, and develop practical solutions.\nKnowledge of government approval processes and public sector project environments is considered an asset.\nProfessional learning and credentials related to project management, engineering, architecture, construction management, contract administration, or related disciplines.\nCertifications such as PMP, P.Eng., OAA, or other relevant professional designations are considered assets.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nCommitment to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture that promotes a sense of belonging and represents and reflects the needs of the communities we serve. \nA Defined Contribution Pension Plan, with Infrastructure Ontario contributing the equivalent of 5% of a full-time employee’s annual salary and will also match any employee contribution up to an additional 5% of their annual salary.
