For more information, please see our Privacy Policy\n\nWe are looking for a Lead WordPress & Frontend Developer to take technical ownership of code quality and releases across INFUSE’s multi-site web platform. You will combine hands-on development with technical leadership, reviewing work delivered by internal teams and external vendors while improving platform performance, security and maintainability.\nThe platform currently runs on WordPress Multisite, with React and Next.js being evaluated as part of its future evolution. You will strengthen the existing platform and play a key role in validating the technical direction for what comes next.\nWhat you will do:\nOwn technical quality and release readiness across the core platform and regional websites.\nDevelop and improve WordPress themes, ACF configurations and custom PHP plugins.\nReview code, technical solutions and estimates produced by internal developers and external vendors.\nEstablish practical engineering standards covering code review, testing, security and CI/CD.\nWork with DevOps to improve deployment workflows, CDN caching and production reliability.\nMaintain integrations across marketing automation, analytics, tag management and cookie consent.\nImprove page speed, structured data, multilingual configuration, sitemaps and technical SEO/AEO.\nContribute to a proof of concept and architectural decisions for a potential React/Next.js platform.\nWhat you will bring:\nStrong hands-on WordPress development experience, including PHP, custom themes, plugins and ACF.\nProduction experience with React, Next.js and TypeScript.\nExperience with WordPress Multisite, MySQL and complex web platforms.\nA full-cycle engineering mindset spanning development, testing, infrastructure, deployment and production support.\nPractical knowledge of web security, performance optimisation and maintainable architecture.\nExperience reviewing other developers’ work and assessing vendor solutions and estimates.\nExperience introducing or improving code review, automated testing and CI/CD practices.\nPractical use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or GitHub Copilot, with sound judgement when reviewing generated code.\nProactive ownership: you identify risks and opportunities, propose solutions and drive improvements through delivery.\nB2 or higher English for collaboration with distributed teams.\nNice to have:\nExperience with headless WordPress and Next.js.\nBackend development experience with Node.js or NestJS.\nExperience with multilingual marketing websites, MarTech integrations and technical SEO/AEO.\nWe offer:\nCompetitive monthly compensation in USD, based on experience and skills.\nFull remote
