The role will play a critical part in designing and implementing secure custody and wallet management capabilities for digital assets, integrating with blockchain SaaS platforms and ensuring enterprise-grade security controls across the platform.\nThis position is part of the initial DAS delivery milestone, focusing on blockchain SaaS integration, wallet management, custody workflows, and secure key lifecycle management.\nWork Model\nAt ING Hubs Türkiye, flexibility is more than a benefit-it's part of how we work.\nOur hybrid way of working is designed to balance collaboration, innovation, and personal flexibility. We believe scalable architectures, strong engineering practices, automation, and continuous learning are essential for delivering reliable solutions at scale.\nAbout You\nBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline\nFluent English communication skills (C1 level or above)\n5+ years of professional software engineering experience. \nStrong hands-on experience with Java (Java 17+ preferred). \nExperience with Spring Boot and microservice architectures. \nStrong knowledge of RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures. \nGood understanding of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with MPC (Multi-Party Computation) custody solutions. \nExperience integrating institutional custody providers. \nKnowledge of blockchain security and smart contract risks. \nExperience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred). \nFamiliarity with ISO 27001, SOC2 and financial security standards. \nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments. \nKey Responsibilities\nBackend Engineering\nDesign, develop and maintain Java-based backend services supporting digital asset operations. \nBuild APIs and microservices for wallet administration, asset transfers, transaction signing and custody workflows. \nDevelop integration components with blockchain SaaS vendors and custody providers. \nEnsure high availability, scalability and resilience of critical digital asset services. \nSecurity & Cryptography\nDesign secure key management processes across the entire key lifecycle. \nImplement integrations with HSMs (Hardware Security Modules), vault solutions and key custody platforms. \nSupport cryptographic operations including transaction signing, encryption and secure key storage. \nApply security-by-design principles throughout application development. \nConduct security reviews and threat modeling for new capabilities. \nCustody & Wallet Management\nDesign and implement wallet provisioning and lifecycle management capabilities. \nBuild and optimize custody workflows for institutional digital asset operations. \nSupport multi-signature and approval workflows. \nImplement controls for segregation of duties and privileged access management. \nPlatform & DevOps Collaboration\nWork closely with DevOps and Security Engineers to automate secure deployments. \nContribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code initiatives. \nSupport operational readiness, monitoring and security incident analysis. \nStakeholder Engagement\nCollaborate with architects, blockchain engineers, compliance specialists and product stakeholders. \nParticipate in architecture reviews and security assessments. \nProvide technical guidance on secure digital asset platform design. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with MPC (Multi-Party Computation) custody solutions. \nExperience integrating institutional custody providers. \nKnowledge of blockchain security and smart contract risks. \nExperience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred). \nFamiliarity with ISO 27001, SOC2 and financial security standards. \nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments. \nEqual Opportunity\nDon't meet every single requirement?
