The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience ensuring the quality and reliability of data pipelines, structured data formats and able demonstrate expertise in end-to-end data validation within complex cloud environments.\nKey Capabilities/Experience\nMinimum 8 years of industry experience performing hands on software testing, predominantly in data space\nHands on experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud platform or any other cloud platform\nMinimum Qualifications\nStrong proficiency in SQL\nWorking knowledge of structured file formats.(CSV, JSON, XML, Avro, Parquet files, etc.)\nProven python coding skills ( or similar)\nWorking knowledge of Azure Synapse Workspace, such as Pipelines and Spark Notebooks, Pysparks.\nUnderstanding and hands on experience in Data Analysis and Profiling, Data Accuracy, Data Transformation, Data Completeness, Data Quality and Regression testing\nHands on Test Automation experience ( Data or Other)\nAbility to work independently with no supervision\nStrong knowledge on ETLData warehouse testing and concepts\nExposure to event streaming solutions such as Kafka\nAbility to plan and execute quality assurance activities throughout the development life cycle conforming to test strategy and best practices\nExperience in creating test plans, test strategies\nAbility to navigate through ETL tools and understand ETL code when required to troubleshoot issues.\nExperience in any programming languages is an advantage (e.g. C#, Java, Python, etc.)\nExperience in testing front end / middleware applications is an advantage.\nAbility to work collaboratively with onshore/offshore teams and interact confidently with business stakeholders.\nExcellent team player\nAbility to gain expertise in complex business systems quickly with attention to detail.\nActively contribute to initiatives which support the growth and efficiency of the testing practice\nFlexibility and eagerness to learn new skills/systems at short notice.
