You are also the subject matter expert on the network observability stack’s new features and help with new implementations. The position is a DevOps role and requires building and working with containers, infrastructure as code, automation with Ansible, knowledge on the ELK stack or Prometheus, Telegraf & Grafana.\nRole\nYou will innovate and participate in agile work processes such as stand-ups, sprint reviews, and planning. Together with the Product Owner, the team (Squad) works on common goals and a shared backlog. You will take care of all reporting and guide the squad in the right direction to improve the services and satisfaction. You are not shy in supporting the other squads within the area and our tribe. You feel comfortable in a role as a trusted advisor. We use video and collaboration tools to facilitate the communication process.\nCompetencies - Skills\nHave experience in network monitoring (e.g. InfluxDB, Prometheus, Elasticsearch , Telegraf, Logstash, Kibana & Grafana) \nHave experience in orchestration platforms (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Saltstack, Chef, Puppet, Azure Automation, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, AWS Cloud formation etc.) \nHave knowledge of Cisco Routing & Switching (level CCNA/CCNP) \nHave experience with load balancers (e.g. F5) and firewalls (e.g. Checkpoint, Palo Alto) \nHave ability to clearly and succinctly express ideas, facts and opinions \nCan adapt to new situation and alter behaviors to work effectively \nCan complete tasks and achieve results in an efficient, timely and high-quality manner \nYou'll get extra points for:\nExperience in scripting in one or more of the following languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript \nAbility to identify problems, analyzing key information and making connections, in order to find appropriate solutions \nBeing an active team player who takes responsibility and ability to coach others to help their individual development \nCompetencies - Behaviors\nThe mindset of openness and willingness to try new ways of working and technologies \nEnd-to-end ownership mindset \nActive team player who takes responsibility \nIndependent and autonomous in completing tasks \nThe mentality of continuous improvement of the service and way of working \nReflects upon behaviours and performance to proactively identify improvement areas \nStrong problem solver to structure and improve complex situations \nCoaches' others to help their individual development \nYour education and background\nProfessional and intellectual IT ability at least a bachelor’s degree \nCertifications or proven proficiency in Networking, CI/CD or NetDevOps \nCertifications or proven proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages \nExcellent command of spoken and written English \nRewards and benefits\nWe want to make sure that it’s possible for you to strike the right balance between your career and your private life.
