We cultivate long-term relationships and leverage our deep understanding with clients to offer a broad range of products (including trade finance, financing, financial markets and working capital solutions) that best match their banking needs. As the relationship coverage team, we are the first port of call for our clients and collaborate extensively with various Sector and Product teams on the origination of transactions across ING’s Global Network.\nBased in Singapore, the intern will work closely with the relationship managers and support the team in promoting business in Singapore and across ING’s Global Network.\nWhat would you be doing?\nPrepare briefing and presentations for client meetings in conjunction with product partners.\nParticipate in internal/external meetings and provide follow-up support.\nAssist the team in preparing business reports and portfolio analyses.\nConducting research on industries as well as new client prospects.\nSupporting the team in execution and delivery of transactions including KYC onboarding.\nSupporting the team on ad-hoc projects.\nWhat qualities and skills are we looking for?\nWe are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria:\n2nd to final year undergraduate with an interest in banking and finance\nHighly inquisitive with a willingness to learn and attention to detail\nGood time management skills and able to function well under tight deadlines\nStrong interpersonal skills and an effective communicator with the ability to collaborate and build rapport within a team\nProficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint will be an added advantage\nExperience or skills in AI, data analytics, or related technologies would be an advantage\nExcellent oral and written communications skills in English\n\nWhat would you gain from this internship?\nYou will gain exposure to a dynamic and highly professional work environment and gain a better understanding about banking in an international context.
