We are looking for someone who combines:\n- Strong business judgement and the ability to understand end-to-end banking processes.\n- A solid understanding of IT risks and controls, and how technology supports business processes.\n- A critical, analytical and evidence-based mindset.\n- Confidence engaging with stakeholders and constructively challenging senior management.\n- Curiosity, learning agility and the ability to think beyond established approaches.\nBased in Madrid, the CAS Spain team is responsible for audit coverage across ING Spain and Portugal. As part of a global function, you will also collaborate with international audit teams and may contribute to cross-border and global audits.\nOur ideal candidate has:\n- A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, economics, finance, accounting, engineering, information systems or a related discipline.\n- Between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience in external audit, preferably in a Big Four firm, or in an internal audit function. Experience in financial services is strongly preferred.\n- Hands-on experience auditing business processes, with the ability to assess related IT dependencies, technology risks and key IT controls.\n- Good understanding of governance, risk management and internal control principles, and the ability to translate complex matters into clear audit conclusions.\n- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning and organisational skills, with attention to detail and a pragmatic mindset.\n- Well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills, including the confidence to ask difficult questions and constructively challenge.\n- Excellent written and spoken English.
