The newly formed team acts to mobilise capital for new sustainable technologies and markets. TA is focused on the following emerging industries which are critical to the development of the new value chains required for a sustainable economy.\nWe focus on mobilising capital, whereby we conduct research to understand the project, technology and market, we perform credit and financial analysis to determine if a project is ‘bankable’, and work with lawyers to negotiate the loan documentation.\nING TA team is offering internships for talented students who are in the final phase of their bachelor, master study or MBA.\nDescription\nYou will conduct research into important transition technologies and industries and present your findings to the team.\nYou will assist with the origination of new business opportunities, for example by preparing client pitch materials, in cooperation with team members.\nYou will assist with timely execution of transactions, working with internal\nstakeholders throughout the deal chain, for example, Risk Management, Corporate Finance, and Legal.\nYou will support the team in the project management of important internal processes, such as committee meetings and Know Your Customer (“KYC”) checks.\nWhat do we offer?\nLive deal-execution experience in important industries for the transition\nExposure to complex (project) financings requiring cooperation with international companies, law firms, consultants, banks and development financial institutions as well as other ING departments\nOpportunity to create a network within ING\nA steep learning curve and ample upskilling opportunities (the team has weekly learning sessions).\nWorking in a diverse team with great energy\nHybrid working conditions, requiring a minimum of 3 days a week in the Amsterdam office.\nIdeal competencies and experience\nWe are looking for:\nRegistered as a student at a university in the EU, note: non-EU applicants studying in the EU must be registered at a Dutch university due to visa restrictions\nResult-driven candidates that have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, combined with excellent presentation and communication skills\nYou have a high proficiency in English (both spoken and written)\nAre intrinsically motivated to make a positive impact on society through your work\nAre an energetic, motivating person who can work as part of a multidisciplinary team and who can also work independently, think and act creatively, and - above all - gets things done\nFinancial knowledge is not a prerequisite, but having some affinity with the financial\nservices sector is important.\nMost importantly: you have a curious mindset and are eager to learn!\nRewards and benefits\nThis is a great opportunity to train with highly skilled people who are experts in their field.
