The NFR Expert will contribute to effective risk and control management by providing expertise, analysis and practical support across activities that may develop as the future organisation and service scope are further defined.\nWe are looking for a pragmatic risk professional who can work independently within established procedures, apply relevant requirements and contribute to effective and consistent non-financial risk management.\nWhat you will do:\nAs NFR Specialist, you will contribute to risk and control activities across an international stakeholder landscape. The precise portfolio may evolve as the future organisation and service scope are further defined. Your key responsibilities include:\nRisk and control management: take ownership of activities, follow relevant procedures and contribute to the identification, assessment, monitoring and mitigation of non-financial risks.\nPolicy and procedure application: interpret and apply relevant policies, standards and regulatory requirements within established procedures.\nAnalysis and reporting: conduct research, collect and analyse information, identify key themes and trends, and prepare clear reporting for relevant stakeholders.\nSpecialist support: provide advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolve queries and issues, and escalate highly complex or contentious matters.\nQuality and continuous improvement: support quality initiatives, identify improvement opportunities and contribute to more effective processes and controls.\nStakeholder collaboration: support internal stakeholders, maintain effective working relationships and share relevant information.\nChange support: contribute to agreed changes and help implement improvements within the area of responsibility.\nKnowledge sharing: share relevant knowledge and provide practical support to colleagues when required.\nWho are we looking for?\nYou can analyse complex information, distinguish key issues from symptoms and identify practical next steps.\nYou apply sound judgement, express your views constructively and are comfortable raising concerns when needed.\nYou understand the needs of different stakeholders, involve others where useful and work towards balanced, practical outcomes.\nYou communicate risk and control topics clearly, concisely and professionally.\nYou take responsibility for your work, meet commitments and look for ways to improve processes and quality.\nYou work independently within established procedures and collaborate effectively in international and cross-functional teams.\nWhat you will bring:\nA master’s degree or an equivalent level of education.\nRelevant professional experience, typically three to six years, in non-financial risk, business control, compliance, resilience, consulting, transformation or a related field.\nSolid knowledge of risk management techniques and relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.\nGood analytical skills, including the ability to identify trends, assess issues and formulate practical recommendations.\nExperience interpreting and applying policies, standards or frameworks and contributing to process or control improvements.\nGood stakeholder-management, verbal communication and reporting skills, including experience resolving queries and providing practical advice.\nAbility to share knowledge and support colleagues; experience supervising junior colleagues is an advantage.\nExcellent command of English.\nWage (gross) 2 669 EUR/month\n*By legal requirement we are providing the information about the basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised position.
