This role combines deep technical expertise, solution leadership, architecture oversight, coaching, and stakeholder engagement.\nAs the technical authority for the platform, you will guide engineering teams in delivering scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions while promoting a \"standard first\" mindset. You will drive lifecycle management initiatives, reduce technical debt, enable adoption of new PeopleSoft capabilities, and ensure the platform remains fit for the future.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Leadership\nAct as the technical reference for PeopleSoft FSCM, PeopleTools, Oracle technologies, integrations, and development frameworks.\nDefine and enforce engineering standards, coding guidelines, and solution design principles.\nReview and challenge technical designs to ensure maintainability, scalability, and alignment with enterprise architecture.\nSolution Design & Delivery\nLead the design and implementation of complex PeopleSoft solutions across Finance and Procurement domains.\nEnsure business requirements are fulfilled through delivered functionality whenever possible before considering customization.\nProvide architectural guidance for integrations, workflow automation, reporting, and data exchange solutions.\nSupport critical project deliveries and production issue resolution.\nContinuous Improvement & Innovation\nPromote simplification, automation, and standardization across the PeopleSoft landscape.\nIdentify opportunities to replace custom developments with delivered functionality.\nDrive adoption of new PeopleTools features, PUM images, and Oracle technologies.\nLifecycle Management\nLead PeopleTools upgrades, PUM implementations, security patching, and platform modernization activities.\nEnsure solutions remain aligned with Oracle best practices and vendor roadmaps.\nDrive technical debt reduction and improve upgrade readiness.\nSupport environment standardization and deployment automation.\nPlatform Stability & Operational Excellence\nEnsure platform availability, performance, security, and resilience.\nGuide incident investigation, root cause analysis, and problem management activities.\nCollaborate with platform engineers to improve monitoring, observability, and operational processes.\nMaintain compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.\nCoaching & Team Development\nMentor developers, technical analysts, and platform engineers.\nFoster a culture of engineering excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.\nSupport onboarding and professional development of team members.\nRequired Experience\n8+ years of PeopleSoft technical experience.\nStrong expertise in PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.61.\nExtensive experience with:PeopleCode\nApplication Engine\nComponent Interface\n\nStrong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills.\nExperience with PeopleSoft upgrades, PUM adoption, and lifecycle management.\nProven experience leading technical teams and complex delivery initiatives.\nExperience working in Agile and DevOps environments.\nPreferred Experience\nBanking or Financial Services industry experience.\nKnowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Asset
