The role requires strong technical expertise in IT security testing, such as application security testing, penetration testing, and threat and vulnerability assessments, as well as evaluating IT and IT security processes. The Senior IT Auditor also uses data analytics to identify issues and clearly communicates audit findings to key stakeholders.\nThe team\nCorporate Audit Services is ING’s internal audit function, with approximately 410 team members worldwide. Based in Amsterdam, you will join the IT Audit team responsible for auditing ING’s global IT organisation. The team comprises 12 members across Amsterdam and Bucharest and forms part of the wider CAS Audit Division Technology & Operations.\nYou will work in a positive environment that values open communication, supports education and training to strengthen your expertise, and encourages innovation.\nRoles and responsibilities\nAs Senior IT Auditor you will develop into the subject matter expert within the team for IT Security and technical IT audit topics. As such after settling in the job and following training where needed you:\nCoordinate and execute the IT Security assessments, technical IT audit work and assessments of IT and IT Security processes. These are performed as part of IT audit assignments.\nDevelop the approach to audit and assess new technologies and new IT processes together with other technical specialists.\nUse data analytics and develop data-driven approaches to target the technical audit work and increase efficiency.\nHow to succeed\nYou have in-depth technical knowledge of IT Security aspects concerning IT components such as (but not limited to) networks, servers, operating systems, databases, web applications, APIs, virtualisation platforms and public cloud platforms (e.g. MS Azure, Google Cloud, AWS), artificial intelligence.\nYou have strong analytical skills to identify IT Security weaknesses, the ambition to effectively communicate related business risks and recommend on the implementation of IT Security controls or risk mitigating actions.\nYou are naturally proactive, critical and curious, you know how to ask the right questions and get the right information, even when you have to overcome resistance.\nYou are a team player who enjoys working in an international team and able to work effectively under minimal supervision.\nYou like to share your knowledge with colleagues.\nFurthermore, you adhere to the ING values and you are also prepared to take the Banker's Oath.\nSkills required\nA bachelor, master degree or equivalent in the field of IT, IT Security, Cybersecurity or IT Audit;\nWillingness to obtain valid industry certifications such as CISA and CISSP.\nMinimally 2-4 years of relevant working experience in an IT (cyber) security or IT Audit department.\nContinuously staying up to date in the IT Security work field by for example attending trainings or conferences.\nFluently in English.
