In addition, the Senior Operations Manager will champion DevOps practices, foster a high-performing and automation-focused culture, and continuously enhance team capabilities and service offerings to support ING’s strategic objective of keeping the bank safe.\nReady to make an impact!!\n\nWhat you’ll do …\n\nLead Core Banking Technology Operations by triaging, prioritising and overseeing the timely resolution of operational incidents, service requests and technology risks, ensuring adherence to SLAs and service excellence.\nOwn the tribe’s IT Risk and Controls framework, driving risk remediation, control evidencing, operational risk management, governance activities and continuous compliance improvements.\nEstablish and manage patching, vulnerability and security remediation processes, ensuring critical findings are prioritised, resolved and reported to maintain a secure technology environment.\nPartner with stakeholders across Technology and Business teams to prioritise operational initiatives, communicate performance outcomes and drive continuous service improvements.\nDevelop and execute lifecycle management and operational roadmaps, building business cases and ensuring technology assets remain secure, supported and fit for purpose.\nCoach and develop team members, fostering a risk-aware, high-performing culture while promoting operational excellence, automation and continuous improvement across the tribe.\nWhat we’re looking for….\n\n10 + years of experience in Financial Services, ideally within Core Banking, Technology Operations or large-scale enterprise environments, with a strong track record of delivering complex technology initiatives.\nStrong technical background in IT Engineering, Software Development (Java/.NET), Cloud technologies and application architecture, with the ability to bridge business and technology outcomes.\nDemonstrated expertise in IT Risk, Operational Controls, Agile delivery methodologies and continuous improvement practices within a regulated environment.\nExceptional stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders, align priorities and drive outcomes across cross-functional teams.\nTertiary qualifications in Technology, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline, coupled with leadership experience in managing high-performing teams and operational excellence.\nWhat’s in it for you?\nDiscounted ING Health Insurance.\nAn additional Rest Day to support your wellbeing.\nAn IMPACT Day to volunteer on approved sustainability activity.\n\nAbout Us\nAt ING, we’re all about making life simpler and more rewarding - for the people who bank with us, the team members who work with us, and the communities we’re proud to support.
