You will work with teams across ING to ensure controls are implemented, tested and monitored consistently, and that key governance activities are delivered according to plan.\nThis is primarily a risk and control role and deep tax expertise is not required. We are looking for an experienced risk professional with strong framework implementation, governance and stakeholder management capabilities. Relevant tax knowledge can be developed in the role, with subject-matter support available through dedicated Centres of Excellence.\nKey responsibilities\nFramework Governance & Oversight\nMaintain and continuously improve global Tax Risk & Control frameworks.\nTranslate regulatory and policy requirements into practical controls and implementation guidance.\nCoordinate framework updates, approvals and communications.\nDriving Global Implementation\nLead implementation of new or updated framework requirements across ING locations.\nCoordinate timelines, progress tracking, risk management and stakeholder alignment.\nAct as the main point of contact for locations during implementation projects.\nProvide reporting and dashboards for senior management and governance forums.\nControl Monitoring & Testing\nEnsure key control monitoring and testing activities are planned and executed on time.\nSupport stakeholders in understanding control and evidence requirements.\nReview outcomes, identify risks and drive follow-up actions where needed.\nStakeholder Management & Governance\nFacilitate governance meetings and control forums.\nPrepare management reporting, decision materials and escalation proposals.\nBuild strong relationships across Operations, Risk, Compliance, Tax and Audit functions.\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency and strengthen control effectiveness.\nDrive standardisation and best practices across locations.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nEssential\nExperience in risk, controls, governance, compliance, audit or a related field.\nProven ability to coordinate complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.\nStrong project management and organisational skills.\nExperience preparing management reporting and governance materials.\nAbility to challenge constructively, influence stakeholders and drive delivery.\nExcellent communication and facilitation skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset.\nNice to Have\nExperience with Non-Financial Risk, Internal Controls, Operational Risk or Compliance frameworks.\nKnowledge of ING governance processes, KCM/KCT, iRisk or related tooling.\nExposure to FATCA, CRS, CESOP or other regulatory frameworks.\nWhy Join This Role?\nWork with senior stakeholders across multiple ING locations.\nLead global implementation and governance initiatives.\nCombine project management, stakeholder management and risk expertise.\nMake a visible impact on how ING manages and improves its control environment.\nWage (gross)\nFrom 3443 EUR/month\n*By legal requirement we are providing the information about the basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised position.
