You will lead the design and development of automation solutions that enable scalable, secure, and policy-driven filtering services across the organisation.\nYou will act as the technical authority for the team, working closely with Network Engineering, CISO Architecture, Security Engineering, and other stakeholders to define architecture, establish engineering standards, and drive implementation excellence.\nThis role is suited for an experienced engineer who combines deep software engineering expertise with strong architectural thinking and a passion for automation at scale.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and implement secure, scalable, and resilient automation services.\nDefine engineering standards, patterns, and best practices for the team.\nProvide technical leadership and coaching to engineers within the domain.\nEnsure solutions are built using modern software engineering practices, including test-driven development, automation, and continuous delivery.\nContribute to strategic discussions regarding filtering policies, consent models, and security controls.\nDrive continuous improvement of automation platforms, operational processes, and developer experience.\nAct as a recognised subject matter expert inside and outside the team.\nRequired Experience\nStrong experience with modelling concepts like domain driven design, bounded contexts & context mapping.\nExtensive experience developing software solutions in Go and Kotlin.\nStrong advocate of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and modern engineering practices.\nHands-on expertise with Kubernetes, including:Configuration and Secrets managementFocus on Networking concepts\nStrong experience with Terraform, including:Designing Terraform modulesExtending or creating custom Terraform providersDeveloping solutions in Go using the Terraform Plugin Framework\nExperience designing and operating secure, cloud-native platforms.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills.\nAbility to drive technical decisions across multiple teams and domains.\nPreferred Experience\nUnderstanding of Dataspace Mutual Consent principles.\nExperience designing and implementing filtering architectures and filtering processes.\nExperience working in highly regulated or security-sensitive environments.\nKnowledge of network security controls and policy automation.\nExperience collaborating with architecture functions and security organisations.\nRewards and benefits\nWe want to make sure that it’s possible for you to strike the right balance between your career and your private life.
