You will work closely with control owners, risk specialists, auditors, and senior stakeholders to strengthen internal controls, drive risk awareness, and ensure compliance with ING's control standards.\nYou'll be part of the Non-Asia Business Partner Services Team within the Control Hub, collaborating with international stakeholders while supporting the rollout and execution of risk and control initiatives across multiple locations and business functions.\nAbout the Team\nYou will join a highly collaborative team that works across geographies and functions to support ING's risk and control framework. The team partners with business leaders, control owners, auditors, and subject matter experts to help maintain a robust control environment and drive effective implementation of regulatory and non-financial risk requirements.\nWhat You'll Do\nCoordinate and support annual SOX404 planning and execution activities.\nAdvise entities and global domains on compliance with the ING Group SOX404 approach.\nSupport risk assessments, issue tracking, control execution, monitoring, and quality assessments.\nEnable control owners in implementing manual and IT application controls across finance and product frameworks.\nCoordinate audit walkthroughs and ensure audit requirements are effectively addressed.\nPartner with SMEs, auditors, IT teams, and business stakeholders to drive remediation actions.\nFacilitate risk assessments aligned with Non-Financial Risk Identification & Assessment procedures.\nMonitor implementation progress, identify roadblocks, and provide reporting to management.\nPromote awareness and understanding of risk and controls among senior stakeholders and business teams.\nSupport effective risk mitigation and continuous improvement of the control environment.\nWhat You'll Bring\nAt least 5 years of experience in Business Control, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Banking, or related environments.\nWorking knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and COSO Internal Control Framework.\nExperience in accounting, internal audit, operational risk management, or related disciplines.\nProven experience conducting Non-Financial Risk Assessments.\nStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.\nExperience working in complex, cross-functional, and international environments.\nStrong analytical, project management, and problem-solving capabilities.\nExcellent written and verbal English communication skills.\nAbility to work independently while remaining highly collaborative.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCPA, CIA, CISA, or an advanced qualification in Risk Management.\nExperience within a Three Lines of Defense environment.\nBIG 4 experience is an advantage.\nExperience assessing residual risk and control effectiveness.\nWhat We Offer\nAt ING, you'll have the opportunity to:\nWork with global stakeholders across multiple countries and business lines.\nContribute to high-impact risk and control initiatives.\nBuild expertise in governance, risk, and regulatory frameworks.\nDevelop your career in a highly collaborative and international environment.\nWork alongside diverse, supportive, and forward-thinking colleagues.\nContinue learning through challenging projects and professional development opportunities.\nReady to Apply?\nClick the application button on our careers site and submit your application through Workday.
