Do you?\nThe Mission\nThe API SDK is ING's core framework for developing secure, resilient, and high-performance APIs. This role offers the opportunity to work on foundational platforms that power ING's digital banking capabilities across our global technology ecosystem.\nAPI SDK is a Spring Boot-based framework that serves as the foundation for developing APIs. It's a lightweight layer on top of Spring Boot that configures beans and filters specific to the ING landscape, including:\nService registry integration for automatic service registration and discovery\nPre-configured resilient HTTP client for inter-service communication\nSecurity components (token validation, access control, and authorization)\nCentralized logging and metrics integration with monitoring platforms\nService mesh connectivity and proxy support for polyglot architectures\nYour day to day\nEven if you start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:\nFramework Development & Maintenance\nDevelop and maintain core API SDK components.\nDeliver features focused on security, resilience, and observability.\nEnsure backward compatibility while evolving the framework.\nMaintain the toolkit components supporting the platform.\nPlatform Integration\nIntegrate with ING infrastructure platforms and services.\nBuild and maintain connectivity modules.\nEnable seamless service mesh and discovery integration.\nSupport both direct and proxy-based deployments.\nDeveloper Experience\nDesign user-friendly APIs and configuration interfaces.\nCreate clear documentation and implementation guides.\nDevelop testing tools for local development and validation.\nProvide reference implementations and best
