At Ingenico, trust and sustainability are at the heart of everything we do.\nWe are looking for a Design Ops Manager to take ownership of the design system for our strategic cloud solutions, including payment applications and device management platforms.\nThis role is highly focused on design system strategy, governance, quality, and execution, working at the intersection of design, front-end engineering, and product.\nThe initial focus is on building and managing the full lifecycle of design systems. Over time, the scope will expand to broader Design Operations topics, including tooling, workflows, and team enablement.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign System Ownership & Governance\nOwn the cloud design system end-to-end, ensuring high standards of usability, accessibility, scalability, and consistency\nDefine and safeguard design system rules, quality standards, and contribution models\nEnsure the system is up-to-date, well-documented, and aligned with product and engineering needs\nIdentify gaps, inconsistencies, and technical/design debt, and drive continuous improvement\nComponent Management & Design Collaboration\nManage, review, and evolve the full library of design system components\nCollaborate closely with designers to translate product needs into components, patterns, and guidelines\nCreate, refine, and maintain reusable components with clarity and scalability in mind\nAct as the central point of contact for design system questions and decisions\nEngineering Collaboration & Implementation Quality\nPartner closely with front-end teams maintaining the coded design system\nEnsure design-to-code consistency and high-quality implementation\nReview usage patterns and ensure correct adoption across products\nAlign designers and developers on standards, constraints, and best practices\nStandards, Accessibility & Quality\nChampion UI quality, accessibility, and consistency across all cloud products\nEnsure compliance with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles\nMonitor and continuously improve UI quality enabled by the design system\nVision, Proactivity & Continuous Improvement\nOwn the vision and roadmap for the design system aligned with product and technical strategy\nIdentify and propose improvements in tools, workflows, and processes (including AI-assisted solutions where relevant)\nContinuously optimize how the design system is created, managed, and adopted\nDesign Operations (Future Scope)\nGradually expand responsibilities to include:\nDesign tooling and setup\nWorkflow optimization\nCross-team alignment and enablement\nImproving design team effectiveness and scalability\nRequirements\n5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, design systems, or design operations\nProven experience owning or scaling a design system across multiple teams or products\nStrong knowledge of UI design, interaction design, accessibility, and responsive systems\nAdvanced proficiency in Figma and production-level design systems (e.g., Maestro or similar)\nSolid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, SASS); experience with React teams is a strong plus\nExperience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and design leadership\nProactive mindset combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution\nComfortable working in a global, cross-functional, and remote-friendly environment\nWhat We Offer\n25 days of paid annual leave\nAdditional health insurance\nAnnual performance bonus\nMonthly flexible benefits budget (Re:Benefit)\nBirthday benefit: 1 extra day off + 200 BGN bonus\nVolunteer Time Off\nReferral bonus program\nParental support benefit\nWork-from-home opportunities after probation\nLinkedIn Learning access\nCorporate discounts\nModern office close to metro\nFresh fruits and snacks in the office\nAs part of our values, we embrace diversity and inclusion at Ingenico.
