This newly created position offers an exceptional opportunity to join our wholesale division with direct exposure to strategic account management. In this role you will report to the National Business Manager and work to establish yourself as a key contributor within Inghams’ newly created Protein and Meal Solutions channel.

This position is based at our Macquarie Park head office although we are open to applications from VIC and QLD too.

What you’ll do:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the protein and meal solutions sector, with focus on further processing and meal kit customers
• Build and manage a growing portfolio of existing Protein and Meal Solutions accounts under the direction of the National Business Manager
• Facilitate customer onboarding processes including product specification, trial coordination, and lead time management in collaboration with supply chain and operations teams
• Establish strong relationships and develop deep category expertise within the further processing and meal solutions market
• Assist the National Business Manager in preparing customer proposals, commercial submissions, and product ranging recommendations
• Monitor and report on sales pipeline activity, new business leads, and overall account performance
• Build core competencies in commercial negotiation, customer relationship management, and wholesale channel strategy with clear progression toward a strategic account management role

• Commercial mindset combined with sound business acumen and understanding of P&L fundamentals
• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities, comfortable engaging at all organisational levels
• Coachable mentality with demonstrated willingness to learn and absorb feedback quickly
• Strategic thinker capable of understanding market dynamics and customer needs within the protein and meal solutions segment
• Organised and disciplined approach to pipeline management and opportunity tracking
• Collaborative spirit with ability to work effectively across functions including supply chain, operations, and customer service
• Customer-centric orientation focused on delivering value and building long-term partnerships
