As the new Machine Operator, you will be someone who is self-motivated and requires minimal supervision, with the capability and capacity to undertake rendering activities.\nApart of this role will be required to work closely with the Operational team and broader functions of the business. Previous experience is preferred but not essential as we will provide on-the-job training.\nThis role will require you to be flexible as we are offering 3 rotating shifts, 7 am-3 pm, 3 pm -11 pm, and 11 pm -7am.\nWhat you’ll do:\nOperate Rendering Equipment (hammermill, boiler, cookers, press, etc)\nEnsure the recording of accurate information in the day-to-day performance of the rendering facility\nResponsible for reporting accurate stock inventories of ingredients and related consumable items\nMake sound judgments regarding product quality, consult with technical resources as needed\nParticipate in problem-solving teams as required\nUnderstand, and follow work instructions\nConduct a pre-start audit to ensure all necessary and required steps have been followed and equipment is ready for start-up according to set-up parameters\nEnsure accurate information is communicated in shift handovers and other communication logs\nAssist with continuous improvement projects, as assigned or available\nWhat you’ll bring:\nCurrent Australian Driver’s License\nForklift License\nBoiler license and/or mechanical experience (highly desirable)\nPrevious work experience which demonstrates mechanical/technical aptitude\nRole model uncompromising commitment to health, safety, and quality in the workplace\nAbility to work well under pressure\nHigh attention to detail\nWhat we’ll offer you:\nOn-the-job training and support to set you up for success\nAccess to Fitness Passport that gives you affordable access to gyms, pools and fitness facilities nationwide\nEmployee benefits including product discounts and travel discounts\nGenuine opportunities to develop your career, supported by our performance and succession programs.\nThe health, safety, and wellbeing of our people is our highest priority\nASX-listed company with operations across Australia and New Zealand\nWe’re looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous and committed to join us;
