You’ll work across preventative and reactive maintenance troubleshooting equipment issues and get to the root cause of faults, not simply patch them over.\nWorking a 4-on, 4-off rotating roster, you’ll enjoy the consistency of 12 hour shifts balanced with four days off, please 26.786% shift allowance applicable across the rotating roster. If you enjoy solving problems, taking ownership of your work and being part of a supportive maintenance team, this could be a great next step.\nWhat you’ll do:\nAttending to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery in a timely manner\nExecuting preventative and routine maintenance procedures to improve efficiency and reliability\nLiaising with the production team to effectively plan and prioritise work to accommodate production requirements and available resources\nAssisting in developing and introducing maintenance programs to support all internal stakeholders\nWorking autonomously and within a team environment\nUpholding safety to the highest degree, for yourself and your colleagues\nSustaining and driving quality solutions in an HACCP environment\nActively seeking opportunities to improve operations performance, system reliability, and reduce overall downtime\nPlanning and designing projects for new installations and equipment modification and redesign\nEnsuring the execution of safety standards and quality assurance practices in all repairs and maintenance activities\nIdentifying and escalating Animal Welfare, Food Safety & Quality issues\nWhat you’ll bring:\nAustralian-recognised Mechanical Trades qualification\nExperience servicing, repairing, and maintaining equipment including automated machinery, conveyors, and more, in an industrial manufacturing environment - preferably primary food processing or food and beverage\nExperience with gear-driven systems and conveyor belts\nFault-finding experience across hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems\nA demonstrated commitment to occupational health and safety practices\nBasic fabrication skills\nExperience in both breakdown and preventive maintenance\nSound interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask\nExperience with Maximo or similar CMMS (advantageous, not essential)\nThe ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team\nWhat we’ll offer you:\n4:4 rotating roster (12-hour shifts, 24-hour coverage) - consistency, recovery time, and a lifestyle that actually works\nEarn up to $45.33/hr + 26.786% shift allowances on the rotating roster\n5 weeks annual leave for shift positions\nAbove-Award rates plus overtime opportunities\nAccess to Fitness Passport that gives you affordable access to gyms, pools and fitness facilities nationwide\nEmployee benefits including product discounts and travel discounts\nGenuine opportunities to develop your career, supported by our performance and succession programs.\nThe health, safety, and wellbeing of our people is our highest priority\nASX-listed company with operations across Australia and New Zealand\nWe’re looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous and committed to join us;
