The successful candidate will be able to deliver, design, develop, plan, co-ordinate, supervise and project manage various types of construction projects.\nPlease Note:This role may be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service, Baseline Personnel Security Standard, Counter Terrorist Check, Security Check, or Developed Vetting clearance.\nThe selected candidate will…\nAct in a Lead Consultant capacity to deliver a range of projects. These projects will either be of a Building Surveying type or more Project Management focused and will range in construction value and complexity. It is anticipated that the candidate will be able to work on their own with support provided by junior members of the team, or other members of IW in-house teams.\nApply Project Management procedures and documentation to projects including programme management, risk management etc.\nPrepare or oversee the preparation of (as appropriate) specifications and documents to enable projects to be tendered and to gain accurate costs from contractors.\nAssist in preparation of any necessary building regulation or planning applications and monitor and deal with as necessary through discussions with the necessary authorities.\nBe able to manage their workload and deadlines including managing project programmes in conjunction with our clients.\nManage the design and preparation of drawing process.\nAssess tenders and make recommendations to clients.\nChair and minute all Project Meetings.\nDeliver all administration of the construction contract.\nFor Building Surveying projects, control expenditure and ensure that schemes are completed within budget/on time.
