Under limited supervision, this person will be responsible for performing complex diagnostics and repairs, relating to distribution center facilities and equipment. The Technician will ensure that all equipment in the distribution center facility is maintained properly, by performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment to OEM standards. This individual will partner with leadership in daily support to internal customers and maintenance team.\nPay: Starting at 28.00 DOE $2.00 shift diff\nSchedule:\nThurs- Sat 7pm-7am + every other Wednesday 7pm-7amOT when required\nRequired Qualifications:\nHS Diploma or GED\n1 years as a technician in a production or manufacturing environment or equivalent year for year directly related education\nKey Responsibilities:\nEvaluate equipment failures and provides complex emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment. \nEnsure repairs and equipment downtime does not negatively impact the ability to meet service level agreements. \nPerform complex technical duties, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production/facility machines.\nRead and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.\nPerform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.\nDetect faulty operations, defective material and makes necessary repairs; reporting any unusual situations to proper supervision.\nOperate motorized equipment as necessary for driving and repairs to include forklift, order selector, pallet jack, floor sweeper, etc.\nComply with all safety regulations and maintains a clean and orderly work area.\nHelps maintain documentation for facility and equipment.\nGeneral understanding of facility electrical wiring and power distribution.\nGeneral understanding of mechanical functions/applications.\nAbility to read and understand electrical schematics and prints.\nElectrical troubleshooting ability, with understanding of AC/DC control wiring and relay logic.\nBasic understanding of PLC.\nAbility to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.\nProficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).\nKnowledge of servo, hydraulic and pneumatically actuated equipment.\nKnowledge of INFOR-EAM or comparative Maintenance Management System.\nEssential Physical Demands:\nAbility to stand and/or walk continuously during the assigned shift.\nAbility to lift/carry/push/pull up to 100lbs during the assigned shift - 30lbs or less continuously, 50lbs frequently, and 100lbs occasionally.\nAbility to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift.\nAbility to bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift.\nAbility to work designated shift including overtime as required, which could include time before or after the designated shift and/or weekends.\nRequires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases.\nWillingness and ability to be equipment certified and able to meet physical requirements of equipment operator\n Perks/Benefits:\nA highly competitive compensation package with generous benefits beginning first day of employment for Medical/Prescription Drug plans, HSA, Vision, Dental and Health Care FSA.10 vacation days & 10 sick days accrued annually and 3 personal days\n401K match, Life and AD&D, Employee Assistance programs, Group Legal, & more\n\nEncouraged continued education with our tuition reimbursement program\nFinancial and in-kind opportunities to engage with non-profits in your communityCompany match program for United Way donations\nVolunteer opportunities and in-kind drives for non-profits throughout the year\n\nCasual Dress Code\nThe world is reading, and Ingram Content Group (“Ingram”) connects people with content in all forms.
