working closely with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and government authorities to ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST and other indirect tax laws.\n\nHigh integrity and ethical standards\n\nKey responsibilities -\nCompliance & Reporting:\nEnsure timely and accurate filing of GST returns, reconciliations, and other statutory filings.\n\nMonitor changes in indirect tax laws and implement necessary changes in processes and systems.\n\nMaintain documentation and records as per statutory requirements.\n\nLitigation & Representation:\nHandle indirect tax assessments, audits, and litigation.\n\nDraft replies to notices, appeals, and represent the company before tax authorities.\n\nCoordinate with legal counsel and consultants for complex litigation matters.\n\nStakeholder Management:\nCollaborate with finance, legal, supply chain, and business teams.\n\nLiaise with external consultants, auditors, and government authorities.\n\nSupport statutory audits and internal audits related to indirect taxes.\n\nEducation: Chartered Accountant (CA) or LLB with specialization in Taxation.\n\nExperience: 4-5 years of post-qualification experience of indirect tax compliance, advisory and litigation in Big4/MNC/High volume
