levels.\nNegotiates best deals with vendors and ensures adherence to quality and delivery standards.\nInterfaces with multiple internal departments to resolve discrepancies related to invoicing, shipments, etc.\nBuyers may specialize in a specific area (e.g. services, IT products, etc.) or functional support (sales).\nSupport personnel manage the paperwork and purchasing systems transactions to ensure adherence to procedures.\nWhat you bring to the role:\nManages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments.\nSets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results.\nProblems faced may be difficult to moderately complex.\nInfluences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures.\nManages a staff of professional and support associates.\nMakes day-to-day decisions for group/department.\nAdapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.\nAssignments
