This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing inbound, outbound, returns and customer operations while ensuring the highest standards of safety, operational excellence, and service delivery. Leading a team of 30+ employees through supervisors and team leaders, you will drive productivity, continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and operational performance. Working closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and logistics partners, you will play a key role in supporting business growth and delivering a best-in-class operational environment.\nRole Responsibilities\nLead day-to-day warehouse operations across inbound, outbound and returns functions.\nEnsure operational performance meets agreed service levels, quality standards, and customer expectations.\nDrive a strong safety-first culture and maintain compliance with all health and safety requirements.\nManage warehouse resources, workforce planning, and labour utilisation to support operational demand.\nMonitor and improve operational KPIs, productivity, inventory accuracy, and cost performance.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, and internal stakeholders.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and profitability.\nImplement and maintain standard operating procedures, quality frameworks, and compliance processes.\nOversee customer operational reviews and identify opportunities for service enhancement and business growth.\nLead, coach, develop, and performance-manage supervisors, team leaders, and operational teams.\nSupport succession planning, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives.\nEnsure security, regulatory compliance, business continuity, and audit readiness across the operation.\nRole Requirements\nMinimum 5 years' experience in an operations Manager or senior operational leadership role within warehousing, logistics, distribution, or supply chain environments.\nProven experience leading large operational teams through supervisors and frontline leaders.\nStrong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, transport coordination, and customer service delivery.\nExperience managing operational budgets, workforce planning, and performance metrics.\nDemonstrated commitment to health, safety, and compliance within a warehouse environment.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.\nExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP, JDE, or similar ERP platforms.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills.\nAbility to drive change, improve processes, and influence outcomes across multiple teams.\nRelevant tertiary qualification or industry certification in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is desirable.\nStrong leadership capability with a track record of coaching, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.\nWhat’s on Offer:\nYour growth is our priority.
