You are responsible for turning business and technical requirements into scalable, reliable, and cost-effective architectures across servers, storage, and networking.\nAbout the role\nThe Presales Consultant is a pre-sales-focused role with strong technical responsibility for Dell Technologies infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with account managers, channel partners, and customers to ensure the proposed solutions meet both technical and commercial expectations.\nYour focus will be on designing and supporting infrastructure solutions based on Dell PowerEdge Servers, Dell storage platforms such as PowerStore, PowerFlex, PowerScale, and PowerVault, and Dell Networking solutions. You help customers make the right technology decisions by combining technical depth with a practical, business-oriented approach.\nYour role in our team\nAs Presales Consultant Dell, you are the technical backbone of the sales process for infrastructure opportunities. You act as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and external customers, supporting the full pre-sales cycle from initial discovery to final solution validation.\nYou analyze requirements around performance, scalability, availability, security, and budget, and translate them into technically sound solution designs. You collaborate closely with sales teams and partners to strengthen proposals, support competitive positioning, and increase the likelihood of winning new business.\nWith your strong technical knowledge and customer-focused mindset, you help build confidence in Dell Technologies solutions and ensure each opportunity is supported with the right architecture, sizing, and technical guidance.\nThe position in a nutshell\nIn this role, you will:\nAct as the primary technical advisor for Dell server, storage, and networking solutions\nAnalyze customer requirements related to performance, availability, scalability, security, and budget\nDesign end-to-end infrastructure architectures using Dell PowerEdge servers, Dell storage platforms, and Dell Networking solutions\nProduce technical designs, sizing, configurations, and bills of materials (BOMs)\nEnsure solutions align with Dell best practices and customer technical standards\nParticipate in customer meetings, workshops, and technical presentations\nExplain complex technical architectures in a clear and business-oriented way\nSupport RFPs, RFIs, and tenders with detailed technical responses\nAssist with proofs of concept (PoCs), demonstrations, and technical validations\nWork closely with account managers and channel partners to support sales opportunities\nEnsure proposed solutions are technically optimized and cost-effective\nSupport competitive positioning against other vendors\nAlign solutions with customer budgets and implementation timelines\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of the Dell Technologies portfolio and roadmap\nProvide internal technical enablement and guidance to sales and partner teams\nWhat we’re looking for\nTo succeed in this role, you bring:\nStrong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking\nExperience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V\nUnderstanding of SAN, DAS, SDS, and Ethernet networking concepts\nThe ability to perform infrastructure sizing and capacity planning\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills\nStrong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences\nKnowledge of Dutch and English language\nA customer-focused and solution-driven mindset\nThe ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously\nA bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience\n3 to 7 years of experience in infrastructure pre-sales, technical sales, or systems engineering roles\nDell Technologies certifications, which are considered a strong advantage\nWe offer:\nA competitive salary and performance-based commission (25% of base salary, driven by both an individual and team target).\nTravel allowance.\nMeal vouchers, eco vouchers, gift vouchers and a representation net allowance.\nHospitalization insurance and a pension plan.\nLaptop and peripherals for an optimal remote work setup.\n16 voluntary hours per year to give back to the community.\nThree weeks of remote work per year (in consultation with your manager).\nContinuous learning opportunities, including LinkedIn Learning and other work-related certifications.\nReady to take the next step?\nDo you want to be part of our team?
