This role focuses on reporting and analytics to drive actionable insights and decisions to support category management strategies, improve working capital productivity, and service levels, while partnering closely with category, operations, planning and IT teams.\nYour role:\nReporting & Analytics\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable dashboards and reporting frameworks for key supply chain KPIs (backorders, inventory health, service levels, forecast accuracy, SKU productivity)\n\nExtract, transform, and analyze large datasets using SQL, Excel, and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)\n\nDevelop data models and automated reporting solutions to reduce manual effort and improve speed to insight\n\nEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across systems and reports\n\nDeliver regular performance insights and executive-ready summaries to support decision making\n\nCategory & Portfolio Management\nAnalyze category and SKU-level performance across revenue, margins, inventory turns, aging, and lifecycle stages\n\nIdentify opportunities for SKU rationalization, long-tail optimization, and excess & obsolete (E&O) reduction\n\nSupport category managers with data-driven insights for assortment planning, vendor performance, and product lifecycle decisions (NPI/EOL)\n\nDevelop and maintain category scorecards and performance tracking frameworks\n\nPlanning & Supply Chain Optimization\nAnalyze forecast accuracy, demand variability, and demand-supply mismatches to identify root causes and improvement opportunities\n\nDevelop analytics to define replenishment strategies, safety stock, EOQs etc\n\nPerform scenario analysis and trade-off modeling (service level vs. inventory vs. cost)\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve inventory efficiency, fill rates, and overall supply chain responsiveness\n\nWorking Capital & Inventory Productivity\nTrack and analyze inventory turns, Days of Inventory (DOI), and inventory aging at category and SKU levels\n\nGenerate insights to improve inventory velocity and reduce slow-moving or excess stock\n\nQuantify the financial impact of supply chain decisions on cash flow and profitability\n\nPartner with Finance and business teams to support working capital optimization initiative.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Category Management, Planning, Procurement, Finance, and Sales teams\n\nAct as a bridge between data and business, translating analytical findings into actionable recommendations\n\nSupport business reviews and planning cycles with fact-based insights and performance tracking\n\n What you bring to the role:\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Business Analytics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field\n\n3-5 years of experience in supply chain analytics, planning, inventory management, or category analytics\n\nExperience in B2B distribution, technology products, or high-SKU environments strongly preferred\n\nAdvanced proficiency in SQL and Excel, with the ability to work with large, complex datasets\n\nHands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau for dashboarding and visualization\n\nSolid understanding of supply chain concepts including demand planning, inventory management, and operational KPIs\n\nAbility to connect operational metrics to financial outcomes such as working capital, margins, and cash flow\n\nExperience working with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, with familiarity in data structures and data quality practices\n\nExperience working with planning systems such as Blue Yonder, Kinaxis a plus\n\nStrong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to translate data into actionable insights\n\nExperience working in cross-functional environments, with exposure to planning tools, automation, or advanced analytics techniques preferred\n\nThe typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,800.00 - $137,300.00 per year.The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
