Let’s shape tomorrow - it’ll be a fun journey!\nSenior MS Cloud Engineer - Microsoft Azure & M365 (Remote)\nAbout the Role\nA Senior Cloud Engineer leads the planning, execution, and delivery of Microsoft cloud solutions across Azure, M365, and related technologies for small and mid-sized businesses. Our practice delivers these engagements on behalf of MSP and reseller partners, often white label, while the partner keeps the customer relationship. This role combines deep technical engineering expertise with strong project leadership, ensuring cloud initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer and business objectives. The Senior Cloud Engineer work directly with clients and partners, manage technical workstreams, guide engineering teams, and ensure that deployed solutions meet quality, security, and operational standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the planning, implementation, testing, and delivery of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud projects.\nConfigure, deploy, and troubleshoot Azure, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Entra ID solutions.\nImplement Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio agents, and GitHub Copilot based on customer needs.\nGather requirements, define technical scope, manage milestones, and coordinate project deliverables.\nDevelop and maintain Statements of Work (SOWs), project plans, runbooks, deployment guides, and technical documentation.\nProvide hands-on engineering support and resolve complex technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.\nCollaborate with architects, project managers, engineers, MSP partners, and customers to ensure successful delivery.\nApply Microsoft security, governance, compliance, and operational best practices.\nDeliver right-sized solutions that align with SMB budgets, staffing, and business requirements.\nContribute to engineering standards, technical best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n5+ years of experience as a Microsoft Cloud Engineer, Systems Engineer, Cloud Project Engineer, or in a related technical role.\nRequired MSP or IT consulting experience delivering Microsoft cloud projects across multiple customer environments.\nProven success delivering cloud projects for small and mid-sized businesses within defined scope, timelines, and budgets.\nStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.\nExperience with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Defender, identity management, and cloud security.\nExperience with cloud project planning, requirements gathering, technical implementation, testing, and operational handoff.\nAbility to create and execute Statements of Work (SOWs), project plans, runbooks, and technical documentation.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, project coordination, and risk management skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including customer-facing technical discussions and stakeholder updates.\nAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively with distributed engineering and project teams.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. \nPreferred Skills & Qualifications\nHands-on experience configuring Microsoft Purview, including data loss prevention (DLP), sensitivity labels, retention policies, and eDiscovery.\nExperience deploying Microsoft Sentinel, including data connectors, analytics rules, and automation.\nExperience implementing Microsoft 365 Copilot and developing AI agents using Copilot Studio.\nExperience deploying and configuring GitHub and GitHub Copilot for customer organizations.\nKnowledge of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, cloud governance, and hybrid cloud architecture.\nFamiliarity with Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.\nExperience supporting compliance requirements such as HIPAA and CMMC.\nMicrosoft Azure or Microsoft 365 certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), or Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert (MS-102).· \nWhat Success Looks Like\nMicrosoft cloud projects delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer requirements.\n Secure, supportable, and cost-effective solutions tailored to SMB environments.\nHigh-quality technical documentation and smooth operational transitions.\nStrong customer and partner relationships built through reliable technical delivery.\nContinuous improvement in cloud engineering standards, security, and delivery quality.\nWhy Join Ingram Micro?\nHelp small and mid-sized businesses modernize their cloud environments through innovative Microsoft technologies.
