Let’s shape tomorrow - it’ll be a fun journey!\nSr Microsoft Solutions Architect - Microsoft Azure & Modern Work (Remote)\nAbout the Role\nIngram Micro is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to lead the architecture and hands-on delivery of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 solutions for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs). Our practice delivers SMB engagements on behalf of partners: we do the work behind the scenes, often white label, while the partner keeps the account and the customer relationship. The Service Architect II is the lead architect and hands-on technical lead for that work, from assessments, Azure migrations, and Azure Virtual Desktop through Microsoft 365 migrations, identity and security hardening, data protection, and Copilot enablement.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead Azure assessments, cloud migrations, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and infrastructure modernization.\nOversee Microsoft 365 migrations, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Windows Autopilot.\nDesign and implement Microsoft Entra ID, Defender, Sentinel, and Purview security solutions.\nLead Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and GitHub Copilot initiatives.\nManage project delivery from discovery through implementation and handoff, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget alignment.\nEstablish architecture standards, reusable templates, and delivery methodologies.\nReview technical designs, resolve complex escalations, and mentor engineering teams.\nBuild strong partner and customer relationships while ensuring successful project outcomes.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n8+ years of experience in Microsoft infrastructure, cloud engineering, MSP, or IT consulting, including 4+ years as an architect or lead engineer.\nRequired experience delivering Microsoft technology projects through an MSP or IT consulting organization.\nHands-on expertise across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 / Modern Work.\nExperience with Azure Migrate, Azure Virtual Desktop, networking, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.\nExperience with Microsoft 365 migrations, identity management, endpoint management, and cloud security.\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, PowerShell scripting, technical troubleshooting, solution design, and documentation skills.\nProven ability to lead technical teams, manage multiple projects, and deliver against SOWs.\nPreferred Skills & Qualifications\nExperience delivering white-label or partner-led services for MSPs, CSPs, or technology resellers.\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Sentinel, Defender, HIPAA, and CMMC compliance.\nExperience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, GitHub Enterprise, and GitHub Copilot.\nKnowledge of the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure Well-Architected Framework.\nExperience with Microsoft Teams Phone, Azure Arc, and cloud cost optimization.\nMicrosoft certifications such as AZ-305, MS-102, SC-100, or related associate-level certifications.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nDeliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective Microsoft cloud solutions.\nComplete engagements within scope, schedule, and budget.\nEstablish consistent technical standards and improve delivery quality.\nDevelop engineering talent and expand cloud, security, and AI capabilities.\nWhy Join Ingram Micro?\nJoin Ingram Micro to help shape innovative Microsoft cloud and Modern Work solutions for a diverse portfolio of business customers.
