As the Supply Chain Data ScienceIntern, you’llplay a crucial role in supporting our Global Supply Chain and Operations team. You’llhave the opportunity to work on diverse projects, providing data analysis support and driving initiatives that enhance our operations. The primary focus is to enable better decision-makingby providing timelyand high-quality data to leaders. This includes the development of reports and data visualizations andleveraginganalytical/machine learning techniques to identifyconnections, uncover insights, and make recommendations to improve performance against critical KPIs for the Operations teams, including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, EHSS,and Procurement.\nWhat you will do:\nTake the lead or assistin exciting workstreams that might include:\nCreating/Optimizing ML forecasts\nAnomaly detection in reporting\nAnalyzing metric KPIs looking for potential drivers\nAssistin collecting, cleaning, and organizing large datasets from various sources.\nConduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and trends.\nDevelop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Excel and Power BI.\nSupport the team in building predictive models using statistical or machine learning techniques.\nHelp identifyand resolve data quality issues.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to provideactionable insights.\nPresent findings to internal stakeholders clearly and concisely.\nPresenting projectfindings to management with recommendations for future analysis at the end ofthe internship period.\n What you will bring:\nProgress towards a bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.\nExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written technical communication skills, e.g.,making presentations and writingtechnical data/reports.\nProficiencyin Excel; familiarity with SQL, Python, or R is a plus.\nExperience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is preferred.\nAbility to translate business needs into requirements and distill insights from data.\nReliable transportation requiredto get to and from the facility each work day.\nExperience with Power BI a plus.\nWho you are:\nDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work\nSomeone curious and willing to ask questions\nAbility towork collaboratively with peers and others\nSolid teamwork skills and creativeproblem-solving\nDesire to see and create results\nTo be eligible for consideration, candidates must:\nCurrently possessunrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
