If you have a curious mind, a strong work ethic, and a desire to be part of a global leader, this role is for you!\nWork environment:\nOur Indianapolis plant is a dynamic facility operating 24/7, 365 days a year. You'll be part of a unionized team working rotating shifts across three shifts (8-16 hours). While the work is challenging, it offers opportunities for growth and stability.\nThe plant atmosphere can be demanding, with varying temperatures, noise levels, and potential exposure to heights. Respiratory protection may be required in certain areas, and it also may involve encounters with pests.\nMust be able to move about in the processing areas and be able to do the following: lift and carry 50 pounds, stand and walk for sustained periods; climb stairs and ladders; bend; reach; push; pull and enter tanks\nWhat you will do:\nDiagnose mechanical issues on plant equipment and execute timely repairs to reduce unplanned downtime.\n\nConduct preventive and predictive maintenance tasks, including inspections, lubrication, and component replacements to maximize equipment reliability.\n\nGenerating out-of-tolerance reports, when required, for equipment found outside of acceptance criteria.\n\nPerforming precision maintenance tasks such as alignment checks, measurement of mechanical clearances, and balancing of rotating equipment.\n\nUtilizing technical documentation (prints, manuals, specifications, etc.) to aid in troubleshooting.\n\nAccurately keeping maintenance records of critical and quality-related plant equipment.\n\nDetermining root cause of failure and correcting condition to prevent reoccurrence.\n\nRepairing failure using current procedures and recommend alternative methods of repair.\n\nCollaborate with production and maintenance teams to support continuous improvement and equipment reliability.\n\nUnderstanding and complying with all OSHA, state/provincial, and local codes.
