If you have a curious mind, a strong work ethic, and a desire to be part of a global leader, this role is for you!\nWork environment:\nOur Bedford Park plant is a dynamic, 300-acre facility operating 24/7, 365 days a year. You'll be part of a unionized team working rotating 5-week shifts across three shifts (8-16 hours), five days a week. While the work is challenging, it offers opportunities for growth and stability.\nThe plant atmosphere can be demanding, with varying temperatures, noise levels, and potential exposure to heights. Respiratory protection may be required in certain areas and it also may also involve encounters with pests.\nWhat you will do:\nOperate and maintain equipment, transforming corn into its valuable components.\nEnsure our products meet the highest standards of purity and consistency.\nIdentify and resolve challenges to optimize efficiency and product quality.\nContribute to process improvements and new product development.\nSafely operate and maintain production equipment within specifications.\nDiagnose equipment issues and implement effective solutions.\nIdentify and recommend enhancements to processes and procedures.\nMonitor production operations through computer systems and controls.\nConduct product sampling and testing to ensure compliance.\nLoad, unload, and transport raw materials and finished products.\n Perform physically demanding tasks (standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs and ladders, working in confined spaces, etc.)\nMaintain accurate records of inventory levels and product movement.\nSafely handle and work with chemicals according to guidelines\nPrioritize safety in every action, safeguarding yourself and your team.\nLearn and perform various job duties as needed.\nWhat you will bring:\nHigh school diploma or GED (required)\n\nAbility to pass pre-employment assessments, background checks, and physical and drug screenings as required.
