In this role, you will lead and execute core accounting processes, record financial transactions, prepare and review payments, support tax compliance, and prepare financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.\nThe ideal candidate will help streamline and improve the month-end close process while partnering with cross-functional teams to develop scalable financial reporting solutions for both existing and new initiatives.\nResponsibilities\nAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, regulatory reporting, and state filing deadlines.\n\nCreate and implement enhanced financial reporting processes to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.\n\nIdentify, evaluate, and implement accounting software solutions that meet Injective's needs.\n\nMaintain the accuracy and integrity of core accounting functions, including accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, fixed assets, and investments.\n\nReconcile bank accounts, crypto wallets, and corporate card accounts.\n\nAssist with the review of U.S. and international payroll processing.\n\nPrepare balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.\n\nSupport year-end audit activities and coordinate with external auditors as needed.\n\nPrepare and manage annual corporate tax filings.\n\nDevelop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.\n\nPartner with external tax advisors, auditors, and service providers.\n\nSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.\n\nWho you are:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA license preferred\n\n5+ years’ experience in Accounting, Audit, and/or Tax\n\nPrior experience working in crypto industry highly preferred\n\nExperience with crypto accounting, including digital asset transactions, wallet reconciliations, and token-related activity\n\nExperience with ERP and accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.)\n\nStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.\n\nInternational accounting and/or consolidation and/or tax experience a plus\n\nProficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets\n\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage tight deadlines and responsibilities effectively; ability to multitask and succeed in a fast-paced environment\n\nDesire to take on challenges, tasks, and assignments\n\nWillingness to work within a collaborative, driven, and professional environment\n\nWhy work with us?\nCompetitive salary and INJ token award\n\nRemote-friendly work environment with flexible hours.\n\nHealth insurance.\n\nUnlimited PTO\n\nEquipment\n\nHome Office Stipend\n\nOpportunity to work on cutting-edge blockchain technology in the finance industry.\n\nCollaborative team culture with opportunities for professional growth and development.\n\nGlobal team meet ups.\n\nAs an equal opportunity employer we don’t tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind.
